Mountain Province State University (MPSU)-Tadian conducted a Student Teachers\u2019 Development and Wellness Activity at the IPED Building on October 16, 2026, focusing on personal safety, professional conduct, mental well-being, and social support systems in preparation for the teaching profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his welcome remarks, Tadian Administrator Dr. Brent Greg E. Gomuad emphasized the importance of developing well-rounded, responsible, and resilient future teachers who are prepared to navigate the demands and responsibilities of the teaching profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity featured discussions on safety, discipline, psychological well-being, and community support. Pastor Arnold Bantasan also took part in the program, while PEMS Ferdinand W. Ampican of the Tadian Municipal Police Station discussed \u201cPersonal Safety, Discipline and Responsible Conduct.\u201d PLT Clark Kent Oliano of the 1502nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion (1502RMFB) shared insights on \u201cSafety, Security, and Awareness for Teacher Interns.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Ms. Hazen L. Nadiahan, Psychologist III of the Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center\u2013Mountain Province, discussed \u201cMental Health and Psychological Well-being of Teacher Interns.\u201d Representatives from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Ms. Krimhild Lumadeo, Ms. Charie L. Camiing, and Ms. Britanny Alyse A. Tambiac, facilitated an interactive session on \u201cSocial Welfare, Relationships and Community Support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants also received a message from University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, conveyed through Atty. Evelyn Marrero-Moga, Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) Director. The program concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, also conveyed through Atty. Marrero-Moga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the activity, MPSU-Tadian reinforced the importance of preparing future educators not only for classroom instruction but also for the responsibilities that come with working with learners and communities. Equipping teacher interns with practical knowledge of personal safety, emotional well-being, professional discipline, and available support systems contributes to their readiness to enter the teaching profession.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
