The Innovation, Research, Development, Publication, and Extension (IRDPE) Sector of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) conducted its sectoral meeting on October 21, 2026, at the MPSU Coffee Shop, Ba-ang Campus, to evaluate performance, assess accomplishments, and strengthen strategic alignment in support of the university\u2019s institutional goals and priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by the Vice President for IRDPE, Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, the meeting provided an opportunity for the sector to review its Office Management System (OMS), assess quarterly targets vis-\u00e0-vis actual accomplishments, and discuss other performance commitments and priorities. The discussions centered on monitoring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that the sector\u2019s programs and initiatives remain aligned with the university\u2019s strategic directions and commitment to excellence in innovation, research, development, publication, and extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the sector proceeded with parallel unit-level consultative meetings at designated venues. The Extension Services and Community Engagement Unit convened at the MPSU Coffee Shop, while the Research, Development, and Publication Unit held its meeting at the Entrepreneurial Training Center and Conference Room. These meetings provided a focused venue for discussing unit-specific concerns, reviewing targets and accomplishments, and identifying priorities to enhance operational efficiency and program implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the discussions, both units conducted a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis to assess their respective organizational capacities, identify areas for improvement, and determine opportunities and external challenges that could influence their performance. The activity also served as a basis for recognizing strategic interventions and strengthening the implementation of programs and initiatives within their respective mandates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through these discussions and assessments, the IRDPE Sector reaffirmed its commitment to accountability, continuous improvement, and collaborative governance. The sectoral meeting underscored the importance of regular performance evaluation and coordinated action in advancing MPSU\u2019s research initiatives, strengthening extension services, and promoting meaningful community engagement in pursuit of the university\u2019s broader institutional objectives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
