Mountain Province State University held a send-off ceremony and conducts an orientation for the athletes today at the university\u2019s Admin Conference Hall for the 2025 National State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Games which will take place at Camiguin Island on April 22-27, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the program, university officials gave messages of encouragement and inspiration for the CARASUC-MPSU athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGo, compete and embody the true essence and what it means to be an MPSU athlete\u201d, said the representative of the student body in the MPSU Board of Regents and the SSC President of Bontoc Campus, Mr. Hill Coleman Awichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr. also inspired the athletes in his message. \u201cAs you take on the national stage, dear athletes, wear the MPSU colors with pride. Compete with heart, with honor and with the same fire that brought you to victory at CARASUC\u201d, Mr. Gayo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue in his message gave a very encouraging words and reminders. He emphasized, \u201cSana yung Igorot spirit, madala natin yun and sana pagbalik natin, adda met ti isubli tayo. (I hope we will carry with us our Igorot spirit and when we come back home, I hope we will return bringing home the glory)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An orientation followed after the inspirational messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
