The University’s Gender and Development Unit, represented by its <\/a>Focal Person Ms. Dixty L. Caranto, conducted a strategic engagement with the Pangasinan Crisis Intervention Center (PCIC)\u2014the sole accredited Gender and Development (GAD) Learning Hub in Region I.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative formed part of the unit\u2019s continuous efforts to strengthen institutional capacities in delivering gender-responsive and inclusive services. The engagement featured a meaningful exchange of insights and best practices on integrated approaches to gender-based violence prevention, psychosocial support, and multi-sectoral service coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PCIC\u2019s outstanding programs, unwavering commitment to gender equity, and innovative strategies for empowering vulnerable sectors serve as a benchmark for effective GAD implementation in local governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
