June 23\u201327, 2025 \u2014 Nine student leaders and one faculty member from the <\/a>University proudly represented the academe in the 3rd AUAP Youth Development Programme and the 5th AUAP Faculty Development Programme, held in the vibrant cities of Pattaya and Bangkok, Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the themes \u201cCultivating a Goal-Oriented Mindset for a Promising Future\u201d for the youth programme and \u201cFostering Excellence and Global Competitiveness in Higher Education through Accreditation and Rankings\u201d for the faculty programme, the event brought together participants from various higher education institutions across Asia and the Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MPSU delegates attended the week-long training to enrich their leadership skills, broaden their global perspectives, and foster academic excellence. Through a series of workshops, keynote sessions, and cultural exchanges, they gained valuable insights into leadership development, accreditation processes, and strategic planning in higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing various colleges and departments of MPSU, the official delegates were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Healthcare Education: Mark Marquez<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Criminology, Justice Education, and Liberal Arts: Quenmarie Tingey, Hill Coleman Awichen, Jefferson Falancy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Teacher Education: Adrian Toma-ag<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management: Danne Dacyon, Hannah Awisan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Engineering: Ricky Ennangen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Accountancy, Business, Education, and Technology: Maybelline Mang-osan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Services Development Office: Dean Jennifer Tuazon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This international engagement not only provided meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth but also reinforced MPSU\u2019s commitment to producing globally competitive students and educators. The experience highlights the university\u2019s ongoing efforts to promote academic leadership and excellence through international linkages and collaborative programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As proud representatives of Mountain Province, the delegates also showcased their cultural heritage and identity\u2014leaving a lasting impression of unity, resilience, and excellence on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegates also want to express their utmost gratitude to the University’s Board of Regents and the administration for their continuous support to quality education and student and personnel development.#<\/p>\n\n\n\n
