The Mountain Province State University inked a Memorandum of Agreement with the Environmental Management Bureau- Cordillera Administrative Region on September 2024 for the \u201cAdopt-an-Estero\/Creek\/River\/Waterbody\u201d Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Said MOA enabled the University to adopt a one (1) kilometer stretch of the Chico River, Poblacion Side, Upstream and Downstream of the Chico Karayan Bridge in the central town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As stipulated in the MOA, the University is responsible for <\/a>improving the quality of water by conducting regular clean-up activities in the adopted water body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the University, in partnership with various government agencies, regularly conducted clean-up drives in the adopted water body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
