Over 79 students taking a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) \u2013 Bontoc Campus are currently participating in a seminar on Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Tax Assessment today, May 3, at the College Auditorium, Bontoc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubbed \u201cKeeping Abreast with the Latest Tax Developments and its Integration on <\/a>Tax Audit and Compliance,\u201d the seminar sought to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge on BIR assessment proceedings and processes, as well as their awareness of the challenges encountered when conducting an audit assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, Bontoc Campus Director, lauded the proponents and underscored the importance of ‘shared goals\u2019 between MPSPC and the students in order to produce resilient and productive citizens who promote transformational governance and contribute to sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also said, \u201cI urge you to maximize your presence here because no one will benefit from all these pedagogies but you alone. You are not only our partners but also a transformational driver of the College.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
