Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings continued preparing the requirements for the University\u2019s 2025 THE Impact Ranking application today, October 29, 2024, at the Administration Conference Hall. The workshop included an identification of policies, programs, and activities initiated by the university to <\/a>achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which highlights the University\u2019s dedication to advancing global priorities through practical action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This preparation focused on several key SDGs: SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The University has made significant strides, as seen in its current global standing: Rank 801-1000 for SDGs 1 and 3, Rank 401-600 for SDG 5, Rank 801-1000 for SDG 8, Rank 301-400 for SDG 16, and Rank 601-800 for SDG 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a higher education institution, the University plays a vital role in meeting these goals, embedding sustainable development within its strategic and action plans to address pressing global issues like poverty, inequality, climate change, and education. Furthermore, the University is also preparing for the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025 application, showcasing its commitment to both sustainability and innovation on the global stage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
