MPSU\u2019s Bachelor of Science in Nursing students <\/a>enrolled in Social Orientation (SocOr) course experienced an evening of elegance during the Fine Dining event on November 22, 2025 at the Coffee and Lemon Caf\u00e9, Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his inspiring message, the University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through MPSU Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, underscored the significance of holistic formation in nursing education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour personal and professional journey begins here, our students. The lessons you gain from Social Orientation, the values formation, cultural understanding, communication skills, social etiquette will guide you not just inside the university, but throughout your careers, your relationships, and your lifelong interactions. It reminds you that professionalism is also about how you present yourself, how you communicate, and how you treat people from different walks of life.\u201d, Dr. Cue said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the Guest of Honor Ms. Kathrina L. Llopis, RN, graced the event with another inspirational message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNursing is not just a profession; it\u2019s a practice of etiquette. Not the kind you learn from a book, but the kind that lives in the heart. In social orientation, etiquette is often defined as the set of behaviors that show respect, empathy, and cultural awareness. But in nursing, it becomes something deeper: an instinct to care with grace. It\u2019s the etiquette of presence, being fully there for someone in pain. The etiquette of silence, knowing when to listen without interrupting. The etiquette of touch, offering comfort with dignity. The etiquette of respect, treating every patient, every colleague, every moment with care.\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
