Bontoc, Mountain Province \u2013 Members of the MPSU <\/a>Contemporary Dance Troupe have been awarded a Consolation Prize for their creative and spirited participation in the Nutri-Jingle Video Contest 2025: Category A (Tertiary Level).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing the University as Entry #4, the group showcased their versatility by blending musicality with movement under this year\u2019s critical theme: \u201cFood at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!\u201d Their performance highlighted the importance of food security as a fundamental right and the need for sustainable nutrition solutions in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition scoring was divided into two segments, with 80% derived from the judges’ evaluation and 20% coming from social media reactions. The MPSU community rallied behind the dance troupe members, providing significant support through likes, shares, and comments during the voting period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special recognition is also given to the team’s mentors, Ms. Emily C. Ngarad and Ms. Carolyne Dale C. Iguid, as well as student-leader Yzrael S. Balagao, who served as both a participant and trainer\/adviser for the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This recognition serves as a testament to the troupe’s commitment to not only artistic excellence but also to active involvement in health and wellness advocacies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
