Bontoc, Mountain Province \u2013 Trainers from the University participated in the three-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Kita Mo Na financial literacy module conducted by the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC) on February 4-6, 2026, at the Coffee and Lemon Caf\u00e9 in Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the program was the demo teaching simulation, where personnel from the University served as trainers-in-training. Students from the College of Accountancy, Business Management, and Information Technology participated as learners, providing a realistic training environment that allowed trainers to practice delivering lessons on budgeting, savings, responsible borrowing, and cooperative values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The simulation emphasized interactive and culturally relevant teaching methods, enabling trainers to refine their facilitation skills while receiving constructive feedback from ACPC facilitators and peers. This hands-on approach strengthened the confidence of MPSU personnel and prepared them to cascade financial literacy education to schools, cooperatives, and community groups across the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
