University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the Culminating Activity on Social Orientation held at Coffee and Lemon, Samoki, Bontoc on April 11, bringing an inspiring message that centered on the importance of family connection, presence, and meaningful relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his inspirational message, Dr. Cue encouraged students to reflect on the reality of modern family life and communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThink about your own family table. How many times have you sat with your parents, yet everyone is silent\u2014not because there is nothing to say, but because everyone is looking down\u2026 at their phones? No more stories. No more laughter. No more \u2018How was your day?\u2019 What you know are updates from people online\u2014but not the updates from the people who raised you. We have become so connected to the world\u2026 but disconnected from home. That is why the table matters.\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further reminded the students to bring the lesson beyond the activity venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen you go home, bring this lesson with you. Bring back the habit of sitting at the table\u2014not just to eat, but to understand and appreciate one another.\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Cue emphasized a lasting reflection on relationships and life itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRemember: life is like a table\u2014and the quality of your journey will always depend on the connections you build along the way.\u201d, he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
