Abdalla Mohamed Emad Mousad Ibrahim, Batch 2018 alumnus, and Electrical Quantity Surveyor at Crosslink Construction Corporation (Baguio Site), served as the Guest Speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his inspirational message, Engr. Ibrahim reminded the students to always remember that engineering is not just about calculations and designs, but it is also about solving real-world problems and creating solutions that improves people&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;To the students, wear your hard hats with pride&#8211; and more importantly, wear them with purpose and let them remind you of your commitment to excellence and your duty as future engineers,&#8221; Engr. Ibrahim added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding inspiration to the event, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, who was represented by VP for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr. challenged the students to wear their hard hats with purpose. &#8220;Isuot yo ti pin nga dayta with pride and humility, because true excellence is seen in its impact on people&#8217;s lives,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony continued with the hard hatting proper, where the students, accompanied by their parents, cheerfully received and wore their hardhats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from the parents also advised OJTs to have patience in their studies. &#8220;Esten yu ta adda serbi bannog mi ta pagsayaatan yu met dayta enggana,&#8221; one of the parents noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OIC-Dean for College of Engineering Dr. Paul Joseph Pisilen concluded the ceremony, reminding the OJTs with the crucial importance of competence and character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other officials present during the event were Chairperson for Civil Engineering program Engr. Rollie Mejia, Chairperson for Electrical Engineering program Engr. Doroteo Bastian and Chairperson for Geodetic Engineering program Engr. Jenny Tumbaga, Engr.
