\ud835\ude4f\ud835\ude4d\ud835\ude50\ud835\ude4e\ud835\ude4f \ud835\ude44\ud835\ude49 \ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude3e\ud835\ude4f\ud835\ude44\ud835\ude4a\ud835\ude49| MPSU once again stood as a hub of empowerment and community-building as University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the Kita Mo Na: Building Financially Resilient Cooperatives program held this April 22, at the MPSU Admin Hall, Bontoc, MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his message, Dr. Cue reminded participants that Cooperatives are more than financial institutions; they are communities rooted in trust, shared responsibility, and collective aspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that the interactive workshops were designed not only to provide practical strategies and tools but also to inspire renewed commitment to decisions that uplift lives and empower communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To illustrate this, Dr. Cue shared a simple yet powerful story of a small group of farmers who, despite limited capital and imperfect systems, chose to trust one another. Through pooling harvests, sharing knowledge, and making collective decisions, their cooperative grew stronger\u2014opening markets, supporting members, and even sending children to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this story, he highlighted that the true strength of a cooperative lies not only in its capital or systems, but in the unity of its people and their courage to move forward together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProgress is built not in giant leaps, but in the daily choices we make\u2014to be accountable, to be innovative, and to stand firm in our shared purpose,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Cue closed with a call to unity and vision:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTogether, we unite to serve the community. By combining academic expertise and local experience, we will create programs that will strengthen, innovate, and transform your cooperative, making a real difference in people\u2019s lives. May you continue to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and build with vision. The path ahead is full of challenges, but even greater possibilities\u2014because together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Said event was organized in partnership with the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) and the Sagada Multi-Purpose Cooperative, highlighting a strong collaboration between academic institutions and community-based organizations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
