To evaluate past GAD efforts, identify gender gaps in policies, create responsive programs aligned with mandates and SDGs, and set gender-sensitive monitoring for equitable impact, the Gender and Development Unit kicked off its two-day GAD Agenda Review and Formulation today, 04 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected outputs include a comprehensive assessment report on the previous GAD Agenda\u2019s implementation and lessons learned, an updated or new GAD Agenda outlining clear gender equality strategies and resource allocation, revised gender-responsive policies and procedures, enhanced stakeholder capacity in gender analysis and mainstreaming, an organizational plan and budget aligned with national and international GAD mandates, and a functional monitoring system using sex-disaggregated data and gender-sensitive indicators to track progress and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Ferdinand P. Gonzales, Co-Chairperson of RGADC-CAR, served as the resource speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
