Gov. Leonard G. Mayaen Sports Complex\u2014The College of Healthcare Education held its Second Clinical Graduation today, 12 May 2026. The event, themed “Advancing Transcultural Nursing Competence Toward Inclusive Patient-Centered Care,” honored the graduating students as they transitioned from academic study to professional clinical practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jane Tufay Layagan, Chief of Nursing Service at Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital, graced the ceremony as the guest speaker, inspiring the graduates to embrace their roles as compassionate and culturally competent healthcare professionals. The event also featured a heartfelt message of gratitude from Student Nurses Organization Governor Ms. Rhoanna Rhinella A. Po-or.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also inspiring the student nurses were: Cong. Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr., represented by Chief of Staff Atty. Cyphrine Maxcel Y. Dalog-Duclan; University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue; VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco; MPSU-Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed; and College Dean Mr. Alfred O. Fomocao, Jr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Said ceremony recognized the completion of required clinical training hours and served as a formal initiation for the new healthcare professionals, celebrating their readiness to deliver inclusive, patient-centered care in diverse settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
