The University has advanced its global standing after securing a spot in the 601-800 bracket of the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings, which evaluated 1,603 higher education institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its new rank marks a significant improvement from the 2025 ranking, where it was placed in the 800-1000 tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The THE Sustainability Impact Rankings assesses universities worldwide based on their commitment and performance in relation to the United Nations\/ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For the 2026 evaluation cycle, the University submitted applications for 15 out of 17 metrics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 1(No Poverty): 401-600<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 2 (Zero Hunger): 201-300<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing): 601-800<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 4 (Quality Education): 401-600<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 5 (Gender Equality): 301-400<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation): 401-600<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy): 301-400<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): 601-800<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): 601-800<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): 401-600<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): 201-300<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 13 (Climate Action): 201-300<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 15 (Life on Land): 301-400<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institution): 401-600<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals): 601-800<\/p>\n\n\n\n
