MPSU disburses financial assistance to TDP and TES scholars

07 February 2025— 1,017 Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and 253 Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) grantees are currently receiving their financial assistance at the Mayaen Sports Complex today. Prior to the disbursement of the grant, a general orientation was held highlighting the policies and addressing concerns from the grantees and their wards.

University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue opened the event with a welcome remark emphasizing the importance of education as a key to unlocking opportunities and encouraging the beneficiaries to maximize the support they had received.

Esteemed guests also delivered their inspiring messages to the grantees. They were Cong. Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr. represented by Ms. Wabilyn Lomong-ey, Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. represented by Mr. Winston Calde, Bontoc Municipal Mayor Jerome B. Tudlong, Board Member Ezra K. Gomez and Bauko Municipal Councilor Edna Bantasan Capuyan.

As proud beneficiaries of the TES and TDP, Russel E. Marcos, Daryl P. Fongkot, Queenie Hope Kabfilan, and Dominic May-ao Jr. share their heartfelt gratitude and inspiring testimonials. Their stories echo a common sentimentโ€”gratitude for the chance to pursue education and a commitment to making the most of this opportunity.

Commission on Higher Education (CHED) programs like TES and TDP are not just investments in students; they are investments in the future of the nation.#
