𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗼, 𝗠𝗣; 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲


The University through its National Service Training Program (NSTP), in partnership with various stakeholders, conducted a fireline construction initiative for its adopted forest in Cattengan, Besao, Mountain Province.

Ensuring the long-term health and survival of planted trees, improving the growth conditions, and minimizing the risks of wildfires, the event was participated by NSTP faculty members and staff, Engineering Services Office staff, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Besao, Mountain Province, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) – Besao, Mountain Province, Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) – Besao, Mountain Province and students of Besao National High School.

The said initiative is a manifestation of the continuous commitment of the University to contributing to the community in which it stands, as well as adhering to the universal goals of sustainability.#
