The University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its three alumni who represented the Philippines in the prestigious UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, held at Al-Rowaiyah Range, Dubai last February 1-5, 2025.
Among the 10 members of the Philippine team, which competed against 103 teams from 48 countries, three were MPSU graduates. They are PSMS Jonathan Rex B Accad (Matibay Class 2010), serving as the team’s coach, PCpl Jerome P Gakayen (Paragons Class 2011), PCpl Alexis L Bismonte (Sandigma Class 2016), and Pat Kevin Tuguic Quezon, all graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology. These alumni were selected after a rigorous process by the Philippine National Police, demonstrating their exceptional skills and dedication.
Their participation, and the teamโs overall performance, in this international tactical exercise showcased the foundation provided by MPSU as preparation for the high caliber of training and education in their career.
