
MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue delivered a lecture on the Functions of Food during the Food Safety and Sanitation Training (FSTS) Level 1, held at Myrna Hotel, Samoki, Bontoc today, March 19.
MPSU personnel, particularly from the School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM), who also discussed topics in relation to the activity. SIHSTM Dean Dr. Karen B. Cue presented her topic on Foodborne Diseases, while SIHSTM Assistant Dean Ms. Maria Fenerlin Comafay focused on Food Safety and Hygiene.
The training, participated by homestay, hotel, and inn owners; cafรฉ and restaurant managers and staff, aimed to equip and capacitate participants with proper food handling practices.
Said event was a collaborated program of the Department of Tourism-CAR and the Bontoc Local Government Unitโs Tourism Office.#
