MPSU collabs with PPG in capacitating MPSUans

In an effort to provide a wide-range understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), the Mountain Province State University (MPSU), through the International and Local Affairs (ILA) Unit, collaborated with its partner institution in Indonesia, Politeknik Piksi Ganesha (PPG), for a webinar titled “Reimagining Hospitality: AI- Power Transformation, Customer Experience Revolution, and Strategic Technological Adaptation,” held today, March 20, 2025.

PPG’s lecturer and faculty secretary of the Digital Business Study Program, Ms. Siti Insani, served as the speaker of the said webinar.

In his message, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, he emphasized the importance of AI in both the present and future generation.

“We are all in the midst of this juncture in history where revolutions of technological advancements are shaping the way we drive industries forward. Remember, artificial intelligence is a tool; hence, we should not let this digital innovation replace us people in our jobs; rather, we should be the ones controlling and utilizing it creatively and strategically in delivering exceptional service and value,” he added.

Said webinar was participated in by the School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM) faculty and students, as well as MPSU personnel and staff who are interested in the discussion.#
