Baccari, Paracelis โ€“ Students of Mountain Province State University (MPSU)โ€“Paracelis Campus underwent their general orientation at the campus conference hall yesterday, August 14, 2025, marking the start of the academic year.

Joining the students during the orientation and gracing the event with his inspiring message was MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr. He said, โ€œAs your university president, I want you to aim high, set your goals, not just in grades, but in character. Be humble even when you succeed. Be brave when you fail, because failure is part of growth.โ€

The activity introduced students to university policies, academic guidelines, student services, university officials and personnel and to campus protocols. Academic heads presented the campusโ€™s flagship programs, the Bachelor in Agricultural Technology (BAT) and the newly offered Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim), highlighting program requirements, internship pathways, and career opportunities.

The students were also introduced and encouraged to uphold the new MPSUโ€™s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.

Paracelis Municipal Police Station personnel and the Bacarri Barangay Local Government Unit showed their support to the university through their presence and an oriented the students on municipal ordinances and barangay concerns.

Said activity concluded with an oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected student officers of the Paracelis Campus Students Organization for Academic Year 2025-2026 presided by VP for Admin and Fianance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr.
