University AVR, Bontoc campus— To send off its 14 Pre-service teachers, the School of Teacher Education- Bontoc campus held a pinning of nameplate ceremony today, 08 August 2025.
Dr. Edison B. Bitlengen served as the Guest Speaker. He is a BSED major in Science alumnus of the University, then Mountain Province State Polytechnic College and currently teaching at the Tadian School of Arts and Trades. “Sa ilang taon kung pagtuturo, may 5Ps akong natutunan,” he shared in his inspirational message. “Ito ay ang pakikisama, pagtutulungan, pakikiisa, paggagalangan, at pakikipagsundo.”
Further, he added the four Cs— commitment, consistency, challenges and competence.
He also challenged the student teachers to give justice to the nameplates they pinned during the ceremony, by striving to reach their goals and by doing well after they graduate.
