Hong Kong-Mountain Province State University (MPSU) participated in the three-day HKTDC Food Expo PRO 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Wanchai, last August 14-16, 2025.

MPSU was among the Philippine exhibitors at the Philippine Pavilion, located at HKCEC Hall SE, booths SE-B20 & B22, that showcased the best quality, aromatic, and organic coffee and locally produced sugar products that embody the rich agricultural heritage of the Mountain Province.

This participation is in line with MPSU’s vision to be a unique highland coffee industry, bringing local flavors to the global market.

The HKTDC Food Expo PRO gathered international buyers, food industry leaders, and trade representatives, offering MPSU a global platform to promote authentic Philippine flavors and forge potential market linkages.

The three-day event opened their respective booths for trade buyers only for the first two days, and the last day was opened to both trade buyers and the public.

MPSUans who served at the booth were MontaΓ±osa Coffee Center Director Mr. Domingo Lawagey; coffee enthusiast and Director for Planning and Development Office Dr. Gemma B. Ngelangel; MPSU-BOR Student Regent and Bontoc Campus Supreme Student Council (SSC) President Mr. Hill Coleman Awichen; and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) student Ms. Hannah Niah Awisan.#
