The session was led by Ms. Marife Calimodag of the Commission on Higher Education’s Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (CHED-UniFAST), who presented the grant’s guidelines, policies, and procedures to the student beneficiaries.
Following the presentation, an open forum was conducted to address questions and concerns from the attendees. The forum was jointly facilitated by Ms. Calimodag and the University’s Scholarship and Grants Coordinator, Mr. Jay B. Napanoy.
The event was also attended by key University officials, including Dean of the Student Services and Development Office, Ms. Jennifer Ruth C. Tuazon; Coordinator of the Alumni and Job Placement Office, Dr. Glen C. Gayagay; and Student Organizations Coordinator, Mr. Jason F. Paleg.
The TES is part of the governmentโs effort under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act and UniFAST to provide financial assistance to deserving students in need.#
