Mountain Province State University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue and Director for Local and International Affairs Dr. Karen B. Cue are in Beijing, China, to participate in the China-Southeast Asia Capacity Development Workshop (ASEAN-Asia TVET Management Benchmarking).
During the first day of the event, August 18, 2025, MPSU participants, along with other delegates from various TVET institutions in China and Southeast Asian countries, visited the Alibaba Cloud data center and other AI-related programs in Beijing.
Alibaba Cloud is a leading cloud computing and AI company that provides a comprehensive suite of cloud services structured around a three-tiered architecture of Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and Model-as-a-service.
Said visit gives the participants the opportunity to see the largest provider of public cloud server in both China and Asia Pacific.
