Ms. Ana Grace P. Salibad of CHED-UniFAST presented the guidelines and policies of the TDP, providing scholars with a clearer understanding of their responsibilities and benefits under the program.
Messages from various local government officials were also delivered, offering key insights, encouragements, and challenges to the students. These included remarks from Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr., represented by Political Affairs Officer Mr. Dionisio K. Wacdisen; Provincial Governor Hon. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., represented by Executive Assistant Mr. Winston V. Calde; and Vice Governor Hon. Jose O. Dominguez.
Furthermore, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue also noted that the program highlights that every effort and hardship the grantees endured is recognized and appreciated, with the financial assistance serving as both a well-deserved reward and a vote of confidence in their potential to positively impact their families, communities, MPSU, and the nation.
โScholarships may fund your education, but it is your vision, discipline, and compassion that will shape your legacy,โ he added.
The TDP is a program under UniFAST that provides financial assistance to deserving Filipino students pursuing higher education in CHED-recognized programs in private or public institutions.#
