MPSU Welcomes Newly Hired and Reclassified Faculty Members


MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue administered the oath of office to two (2) permanent employees and two (2) who were reclassified as Assistant Professor I and Assistant Professor III with permanent status, at the Office of the President today, September 11, 2025.

They were Ms. Shane A. Laurel and Ms. Glyniselynn P. Maskay, hired as Instructor I for the School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM) and School of Criminal Justice and Liberal Arts (SCJELA), respectively.

Meanwhile, Ms. Sylesia Kaning K. Pangesfan was hired as Assistant Professor I for the School of Teacher Education (STE), and Ms. Catherine T. Chapeyen as Assistant Professor III for the School of Healthcare Education.

The oath-taking ceremony was witnessed by Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, Director for Human Resource Management Office Atty. Evelyn A. Marrero, Director for Research, Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, Dr. Elvin P. Rosario, the Dean for School of Accountancy, Business Education, and Technology (SABT), Dr. Edgar G. Mapangdol, Dean of the School of Criminal Justice Education and Liberal Arts (SCJELA), Faculty Regent Dr. Johnny P. Cayabas, with their family, friends, and colleagues.#
