
September 3, 2025- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has officially granted Mountain Province State University (MPSU) the Certificate of Registration and Authority to Offer the Diploma in Hospitality Technology program.
TESDAโMountain Province Provincial Director Felixberto Matute personally awarded the certificate to MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue in a ceremony yesterday at the University Board Room.
Also present during the awarding were Chief Administration Officer Atty. Dexter Lingbanan, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine Madjaco, Campus Executive Director of MPSU Bontoc Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, and faculty members of the School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM), led by its dean, Dr. Karen B. Cue.
Alongside the diploma program, TESDA likewise accredited MPSU as a training center for Events Management Services NC III, Food and Beverage Services NC II, Front Office Services NC II, Bartending NC II, and Barista NC II.
This recognition marks a significant step in strengthening MPSUโs academic and technical-vocational offerings, equipping learners with globally competitive skills in the hospitality and tourism industry.#
