𝗖𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 || Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue attended the Awarding Ceremony for the CHED-UniFAST Scholarships hosted by the Commision on Higher Education (CHED) yesterday, September 12.

This momentous occasion celebrates the achievements of deserving student scholars and reaffirms shared commitment to empowering the youth through quality higher education.

The event was graced by the presence of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and was attended by the Presidents, Heads, and Officers-in-Charge of all State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

In his speech, His Excellency PBBM noted that when the government strengthens education, it also strengthens the workforce, leading to the forging of a better future for the economy and the country.

“I now call on all state and local universities and colleges, private higher education institutions, local government, and our partners to continue to work with us. I also call on Congress to help us strengthen the UniFAST so that we can implement it fully as intended in the letter of that law,” he said.

Highlights of the program includes the Official Launching of the eCAV and the Awarding of Scholarship Grants.
