
The School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management’s (SIHSTM) Hospitality Technology program went through Assessment Center Inspection Audit from the National Technical Working Group and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Mountain Province today, September 18, 2025.
Prior to the assessment and audit proper, the auditors, Ms. Maria Erlinda T. Noval and Ms. Madeleine W. Lomeng, from the TESDA Provincial Office of Kalinga, paid a visit to the Office of the University President.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through the Director for International and Local Affairs, Dr. Karen B. Cue, extends his heartfelt gratitude to TESDA for their unwavering support through continuous assessment and evaluation of the institution and for being a steadfast partner in the pursuit of academic and technical excellence.
The assessment aims to ensure that the university continues to meet the standards set for training and assessment in the field of hospitality and service. This activity covers six qualifications:
• Bartending NC II
• Front Office NC II
• Events Management Services NC III
• Housekeeping NC II
• Bread and Pastry Production NC I
• Food and Beverage Services NC II
