The new director of the 1403rd Community Defense Center (1403CDC), LTC Vincent A. Lauigan (AGS) PA, accompanied by Sgt. Marlon Calvario PA and Sgt. Marvin A. Ayop PA, paid a courtesy visit to MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue at the Office of the University President today, October 1, 2025.
The visit highlighted the strengthening of partnership between the Philippine Army and Mountain Province State University, particularly in fostering community development, peace and security initiatives, and leadership training programs for students under the Reserve Officersβ Training Corps (ROTC).
President Cue warmly welcomed LTC Lauigan and his team, expressing his gratitude for the continued support of the 1403CDC in shaping the values of discipline, service, and patriotism among MPSU students. Both institutions look forward to sustained collaboration to advance youth leadership and civic consciousness in the province.
