Students of the University from the municipalities of Bauko, Barlig, Bontoc, Natonin and Paracelis received their grant from the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) today, 16 October 2025, at the Eyeb Covered Gym.
Said grant, under the Department of Social Welfare and Development, in collaboration with the Office of Cong. Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr. is one of the social welfare services of the DSWD that provides medical assistance, burial, transportation, education, food, or financial assistance for other support services or needs of a person or family.
In this case, it aids students in their educational expenses. The students must be classified as โin crisis,โ which includes working students, breadwinners of the family, children of solo parents or unemployed parents, orphans, and other circumstances.
Each student received an amount of Php 5,000.00.
Meanwhile, students from the municipalities of Tadian, Sabangan, Sadanga and Besao will be having their payout tomorrow, 17 October 2025.#
