The Mountain Province State University received the Galing Para sa Bayan Award for being a Prime HRM Bronze Awardee by the Civil Service Commission during its Pasasalamat at Pagpupugay sa mga Lingkod-Bayani ng Montaรฑosa. The University also received a certificate of appreciation as one of the partner agencies during the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration.

Atty. Evelyn A. Marrero, Director for Human Resources Management, and Ms. Diana Dee T. Chaluyen, accompanied with the University HRMO personnel, received the recognitions on behalf of the University.

One of the University personnel, Ms. Valerie Kerr P. Guinayen, was also a recipient of the Barya Ko, Buhay Mo Program. Said cash donation was received by her son.
