Spearheaded by Societas Scientia of the College of Teacher Education and the Criminology Department Student Organization, the activity brought together BSED-Science majors, the Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology class, MPSU faculty and staff, MASE and MAEd students, and Barangay Samoki LGU representatives.
A total of 500 pine tree seedlings were planted at Mount Fana-ao, Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province, promoting environmental conservation and community involvement.
Monitoring is scheduled for January 2026 to ensure the seedlingsโ growth and sustainability.
This initiative reflects MPSUโs commitment to public service, environmental stewardship, and collaborative action, aligning with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including, SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 15 (Life on Land), SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
