
University Auditorium– The Universityโs interns and students from the BS in Criminology program attended the information drive for the Army Recruitment Program today, 14 October 2025.
Said event aimed to inform students and interns about career opportunities within the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Dean Edgar B. Mapangdol encouraged attendees to consider military service as a viable career option, citing successful alumni who have joined the Army.
LTC Vincent A. Lauigan highlighted the job security and other benefits of serving in the AFP, urging students to register for possible enlistment.
TSg Buddy O. Segundo, the Recruitment NCO for the Cordillera Administrative Region, provided an orientation covering Army career paths, qualifications, requirements, and the application process.
Notably, the event introduced the first-ever Officer Candidate Exam and Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT) to be conducted in Mountain Province. Following the orientation, pre-registration for the exams was opened.
The AFP Service Aptitude Test, Army Qualifying Exam, and Special Written Examination are set from 20-23 November 2025 at MPSU. Other updates will be posted on this page.#
