The pre-planning aims to create an evidence-based, inclusive, and transformative strategic planning process by revisiting the Universityโs mission, vision, and core values to align with regional, national, and global priorities.
It also involved assessing performance, identifying challenges and opportunities, and encouraging participation from key units to foster shared understanding and ownership of the planning process.
In his closing remarks, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue urged the attendees to be โagile, adaptative, and continually long for change and improvement.โ
โThis, I hope, be our battle cry in transforming the quality of life of the communities that we serve through the advancement and development of our University,โ Dr. Cue added.
