𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟮 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The pre-planning aims to create an evidence-based, inclusive, and transformative strategic planning process by revisiting the University’s mission, vision, and core values to align with regional, national, and global priorities.

It also involved assessing performance, identifying challenges and opportunities, and encouraging participation from key units to foster shared understanding and ownership of the planning process.

In his closing remarks, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue urged the attendees to be ‘agile, adaptative, and continually long for change and improvement.’

“This, I hope, be our battle cry in transforming the quality of life of the communities that we serve through the advancement and development of our University,” Dr. Cue added.
