MPSU Prepares CoE Application for Nursing, Education, and Criminology Programs


The Institutional Quality Assurance Unit is currently presenting the requirements for the University’s application for the Center of Excellence (CoE) designation for BS in Nursing, Bachelor of Secondary Education (Bontoc and Tadian), and BS in Criminology.

Director for IQA, Ms. Collins F. Lidua, laid out the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education for the COE application to VP for Internationalization, Planning and Information Management Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan, VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, MPSU-Bontoc College of Teacher Education Dean Dr. Annie Grail F. Ekid, MPSU-Tadian College of Teacher Education Dean Dr. Oliver Dominguez, College of Criminal Justice Education Dean Dr. Edgar B. Mapangdol, and the respective program chairpersons.

The CoE aims to sustain and develop excellence in higher education institutions to support nation-building and national development. The designation is based on continuous and excellent performance in instruction, research and publication, and extension.

The University is set to consolidate and submit the application on or before December 31.
