MPSU-Tadian Students Join HIV/AIDS Awareness and Testing Activity

𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘|| Students from MPSU-Tadian took part in HIV/AIDS Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) advocacy and availed themselves of free HIV testing earlier today, 29 October 2025, at the IPED building.

An initiative of the Provincial Health Office in partnership with the Local Government of Tadian, the event aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, promote early testing, and reduce stigma associated with the disease. The event also sought to empower students with accurate information to help them make informed decisions regarding their health.

The resource speakers for the event include Ms. Norma Kalang-ad from PHO and Mr. Omar W. Ebrahim from the Municipal Health Office-Tadian. They provided valuable insights into HIV transmission, prevention strategies, and the importance of regular testing. Assisting them were Mr. Lloyd Sagayo and Ms. Brenda Chengay Fagyan-Khayad.

This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of local health authorities and educational institutions to promote a healthy and informed student community.#
