In celebration of the National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW), a Search for Mr. Pogi was held at MPDJ, Caluttit, Bontoc, on October 26, 2025.

As the Guest of Honor and Speaker, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the event with an inspiring message.

“This event for me is about rediscovering your worth and about reminding yourselves that no matter where you are now, you still have dreams to chase and lives to rebuild. Every one of you has a story, and today, you’re showing that your story is still being written, with hope, with humor, and with heart.”, he said.

Moreover, Dr. Cue lauded the candidates of the pageant.

“To our candidates, you are more than your past and more than your mistakes. What matters most is the direction you’re taking now, forward, upward, and toward a better version of yourself.”, he added.

This event forms part of BJMP’s ongoing rehabilitation and development initiatives designed to nurture self-esteem, discipline, and social responsibility among PDLs. #
