MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue courteously listened and took note during the delivery of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr., the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines, through online streaming yesterday, July 22, 2024.
“Last year we reported that our higher education institutions are gaining international rankings for all the right reasons. As further evidenced, 87 of our higher education institutions have now made it into various world university ranking, 51 of them are public universities and colleges,” President Marcos underscored in his message.
This attest to the constant provision and empowerment in the pursuit of higher education excellence, internationalization, and grit leadership of Commission on Higher Education Chairperson Dr. J. Prospero ‘Popoy’ E. de Vera III. Moreover, Dr. Cue applauded as MPSPC is one of the 51 public universities and colleges that made it to the world university rankings.
