MPSPC Conducts Gender-Based Violence and Maternal Mental Health Awareness


In celebration of the Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, employee-mothers participated in an interactive seminar through an initiative campaign dubbed “Overlapping Crises: Gender-Based Violence and Maternal Mental Health Awareness” today, May 31, 2024, at the College Administration Conference Hall, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the emotional well-being of parents, to encourage employees to have open dialogues about mental health break down stigmas, and, to build a culture of understanding and support.

Ms. Crystine Cofulan-Felimon, the MPSPC Guidance and Counselling Coordinator spoke on the role of Mental Health in Gender-Based Violence. Futher, Ms. Eleonor Bagwan-Batnag, Psychologist III and the Mental Health Coordinator of Mountain Province tackled Maternal Mental Health Awareness.
