MPSPC-ROTC undergoes tactical inspection

The cadets and cadettes from the Reserved Officer Training Corps of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College underwent this year’s Regional Annual Administrative & Tactical Inspection (RAATI) at the Eyeb Ground today, May 25, 2024.

This year, LTC EPIFANIO R GAMINDE VI, FS PA (RES) the Battalion Commander of the 1401ST RRIBN and RAATI Chairman for SY 2023-2024 led the inspection together with his team of inspectors.

RAATI is an integral part of the annual competition among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the region. It serves as a platform for the College’s ROTC to showcase the practical applications of skills they learned. The inspection included areas on Administration and Management, Commandant and Staff, Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Inspection in Ranks, Close Order Drill (Company Drill), Military Stakes, Basic Life Support and Comprehensive Examination.

“To our MPSPC warrior cadets, I do believe that you are trained to be resilient enough to stand amidst pressures, the scorching heat of the sun, and the blazing downpour of the rain,” College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by the VP for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr. said in his message. “As your College President, I salute your steadfast dedication to the ROTC program and commend your courage, commitment, and determination,” he added.

After the inspection, 352 cadets and cadettes of the College’s Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) were declared graduates.
