226 PINASkolars of the Tulong- Dunong Program-Tertiary Education Subsidy accompanied by their parents/guardians participated in the orientation and cash incentive payout conducted by the Scholarships and Grants Office and the Cashier’s Office today, March 5, 2024 at the College Auditorium.

Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr., represented by Mr. Erlindo O. Agwilang stressed the importance of wisely utilizing the given assistance. “We wish to support excelling and indigent students like you and help you finish your college education,” he added.

College President Edgar G. Cue challenged the grantees to seize the given opportunity as a stepping stone towards personal growth and educational development. “Consider how you can give back – whether through skill development, community engagement or supporting others in need, especially to your parents,” Cue added.

Bontoc Campus Director, Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed and SSDO Dean, Ms. Jenifer Ruth C. Tuazon also gave pieces of advice to the grantees. “Since the opportunity is ahead, utilize this grant. Education is very important, it is the key to success,” Tuazon said. “With the help you received from our community, do your best to finish your studies, as it is the greatest gift a parent can receive from their children,” Dr. Sia-ed stressed.

Scholarships and Grants Coordinator Mr. Jay B. Napanoy gave an orientation on the guidelines of TDP-TES scholarship to the students and parents. The payout followed after. Similar event will be held on April 9, 2024 for those grantees who were not included in today’s payout.
