MPSPC JOINS LOCAL AND FOREIGN HEIs FOR A-GRASS 2024 IN THAILAND


The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College served as one of the partner-HEIs of the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators, Inc. (APCORE, Inc) that spearheaded the Asian Graduate Studies Summit on April 3-5, 2024 at the Bangsaen Heritage Hotel in Chon Buri, Thailand. Burapha University in Saen Suk, Thailand served as the event’s main host.

More than 300 onsite and online researchers from various universities in Asia converged during the first day of the conference. The College’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, who represented MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, served as a panel member of the roundtable discussion who discussed “Emerging trends in graduate education in Asia: Harmonizing with the Sustainable Development Goals, the MPSPC Way.”

He was joined by VP for RDE Dr. Epiphania Magwilang and 5 faculty researchers who will present onsite on April 4-5, 2024, including Jonnelle Fagsao, Claire Kaplaan Lafadchan, Julie Grace Mi-ing, Parline Angyap Ullalim, and Santino Tangilag and 1 graduate school student, Delma Kalaw of MPGCHS. Online presenters include Luzlyn Agwilang, Susan Lopez, Annie Grail Ekid, Georgina Maskay and another graduate student Suzelle Henra Wangwang.

MPSPC’s participation as a partner institution was facilitated by Dr. Karen B. Cue, International and Local Affairs Director.
