Academic sector in Bontoc campus sets future directions thru assessment


To assess the development of the academic sector from its goals stated in the strategic plan set in 2023, the Executive Council, composed of the Chairpersons of the different programs in Bontoc Campus, embarks on a two-day Assessment and Future Directions starting today, March 18 until March 19, 2024.

The Campus Director Dr. Arel B.Sia-ed presented the sector’s accomplishment report while Mr. Edgar Mapangdol presented the Criminology Department’s strategic planning. The body gave their insights after the presentations, and a workshop on each department’s strategic plans followed.

“Being one of the providers of higher learning, we hold the responsibility to provide our students with a transformative learning experience that equips them with the skills, knowledge, and character to thrive in an ever-changing landscape. The academic programs we offer play a vital role in fulfilling this responsibility,” College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue stressed. “This assessment and planning also present us with an equitable opportunity to ensure that we remain at the forefront of innovation, future directions, and maneuvers for the benefit of our students,” he added.

Presentation and critiquing sessions on the Board Operation Programs and the other departmental strategic plans will follow tomorrow.
