Blood donation activity, 1403rd RRIBn 1st Quarter Mustering spirit up through MPSPC, 14th RCDG, RESCOM-PA, Red Cross


Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), in collaboration with the 14th (CAR) Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army (PA), and Philippine Red Cross (PRC)- MP, hosted the first leg of RESCOM-Wide blood donation activity and 1403rd RRIBn 1st Quarter Mustering with the theme “Dugo Ko, Dugo Mo, Alay sa Pilipino ng Bagong Pilipinas” at the MPSPC Admin Lobby, Bontoc, MP today, March 9.

“I am honored to welcome and congratulate all of you for navigating into this year’s first national-wide bloodletting event, which is also in line with the celebration of the 127th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary. A decision to donate blood can save one’s life. All of you here are heroes. Thus, I would like to urge everyone to continue this noble act of volunteerism,” stated College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue in his message.

Moreover, Dr. Cue expressed his gratitude to the Regional Defense Group, RESCOM PA for sponsoring the bloodletting activity as a manifestation of empathy and the spirit of og-ogfo or binnadang. He also acknowledged the donors for continuously adhering to the act of volunteerism.

The blood donation was executed by the cadets and reservists of MPSPC Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit headed by MAJ Blas G. Alsiyao PA, 1403rd Community Defense Center (CDC) Director and ROTC Commandant.
