BSOA faculty members capacitates barangay officials, personnel on meetings, time and stress management with CSW in Sadanga, MP


Faculty members from the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration conducted a capacity-building workshop focused on meetings, time and stress management and Completed Staff Work for barangay officials and personnel in Sadanga, Mountain Province. This event took place on November 13-14, 2024, in partnership with the Extension Services.


The workshop aimed to lay a foundation for more effective and sustainable local governance by strengthening the essential skills required for efficient administration. Participants included barangay officials, SK officials, secretaries, and treasurers from Betwagan and Anabel.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) โ€” specifically SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 16 (Peace, Justiceand Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals) โ€” the capacity-building initiative aimedto achieve several objectives: enhance meeting efficiency by teaching best practices for meeting management; improve time management skills by equipping participants with techniques for prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals, and allocating time effectively; develop effective stress management techniques; and improve decision-making processes through the principles of Completed Staff Work.


Completed Staff Work is a method that emphasizes thorough preparation of tasks to assist decision- makers in acting effectively. This approach is particularly important in government offices, as it ensures well-informed decisions, streamlines processes, reduces redundancy, and enhances service delivery to the public.
