MPSU honors academic achievers in Araw ng Parangal ceremony; F03 Layagan serves as Guest Speaker


More than 300 President’s and Dean’s Listers, with their parents and guardians, were recognized today for their outstanding academic achievement for the Second Semester of AY 2023-2024 at the Gov. Leonard G. Mayaen Sports Complex. Bearing the theme, “Reaching New Heights: Celebrating Excellence in Our Transformation,” FO3 Jenry I. Layagan, a BS in Criminology alumna of the University served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Stressing on the importance of education as the key to success, FO3 Layagan also underscored that poverty is not a hindrance to finish one’s education. Layagan also challenged the students to give back to the University and represent the academe with pride.

Leading the awarding of certificates of recognition to the achievers is the University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue. He was accompanied by VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, and Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed. Also present is Dean for SSDO Ms. Jennifer Ruth C. Tuazon, School Dean for SABETech Dr. Elvin P. Rosario, other University officials, students and staff.
